Chelsea's third-round FA Cup tie against Nottingham Forest was quite an eventful affair.
The game at Stamford Bridge was a chance for Blues fans to say goodbye to Cesc Fabregas, who is set to move to Thierry Henry's Monaco in the coming days.
However, his final bow in west London didn't exactly go to plan, with Fabregas actually missing a penalty in the first-half.
Forest keeper Jason Steele got down low to thwart the Spaniard after his stuttered run-up.
Fortunately for Fabregas, his countryman Alvaro Morata was on hand to bail him out with a rare couple of goals.
Callum Hudson-Odoi teed up the misfiring striker for both to earn the Blues a 2-0 win and passage to the fourth-round.
But in typical Morata fashion, he just had to make a bit of an idiot of himself in the first-half.
Morata was put through on goal and was then appeared to be caught by Forest midfielder Claudio Jacob.
It was a hard decision for the referee, but while he was on the floor, Morata decided to call for VAR to review the incident.
Sadly for the Spaniard, the technology wasn't in use at Stamford Bridge for the game.

Oh Alvaro, never change.
CHELSEA FANS REACT
To say Morata had an eventful game would be an understatement, as he proceeded to miss an open goal from two yards out just seconds before his and Chelsea's second goal.
Whether his eventful performance will see him included in the team to play Tottenham in the Carabao Cup semi-final on Tuesday is difficult to say.
Maurizio Sarri has preferred Eden Hazard in a 'false nine' role in recent weeks, but Morata may have done his confidence the world of good with his brace against Forest.
