Unbelievable. It's the fastest any team has ever scored five goals in the Premier League.
And to think, a fair few people were questioning City's title credentials after last week. This is some response.
Oh, and they managed to score those five goals without the help of Raheem Sterling, who was left on the bench.
The record win in the Premier League is set at 9-0 and the way it's going, City could better that. They have 45 minutes to do so.
City's big victory - and it will be a big victory - means that the title race is more than open. But ahead of kick-off, Pep Guardiola revealed rivals Liverpool are the toughest opponents he's ever faced.
The opponents we have, I've said many times, are the strongest opponents I have faced in my career as a manager - Liverpool," he said.
"These are not weak words. I said it when they were in front, I said it when we were in front; when we won and we lose.
"They have absolutely everything in terms of a positional game, counter-attack, set pieces, transitions, offensive, defensive and mentality. Anfield the stadium - many things."
High praise from the City boss, but with his side playing like this, it will be tough for Liverpool to keep them at bay.News Now - Sport News
