Arsenal players have agreed to a 12.5% pay cut.

A few days ago, it emerged that players had rejected the club's initial proposal of a pay cut.

But talks continued and now, after Mikel Arteta's intervention, players have struck a deal with the club.

According to the Mirror, players will get their money back should they qualify for the Champions League in the next two seasons.

They will get their money back, plus a £100,000 bonus each, if they qualify for the Champions League this campaign.

Players will also be given a £500,000 bonus if they win the Champions League in 2021 or £100,000 each if they win the Europa League.

So, players will have the opportunity to get their money back and more. But, how much money are Arsenal players earning now and how much have they given up?

Figures have been taken from spotrac. We've only included first-team players and added a 12.5% reduction ourselves.

Fair play to Arsenal players for giving up a portion of their salary to help the club.

They are all still on some decent money, though.

Five players will still earn over £100,000-per-week: Luiz, Pepe, Lacazette, Aubameyang and Ozil.

Ozil, incredibly, is still getting over £300,000-per-week, despite contributing to just four Premier League goals this season.
