Huge tennis fans have the opportunity of a lifetime in spending a day with popular player Genie Bouchard with the funds raised going to charity.
The Canadian is currently 332nd in the world rankings but burst onto the court by becoming the first from her country to reach the final of a Grand Slam singles tournament.
While she finished runner-up to Petra Kvitova that day, Bouchard also reached the semifinals of the Australian and French Opens that year.
And the 26-year-old is now selling a dinner date and exclusive tennis opportunity to one lucky bidder.
Teaming up with 15 Seconds of Fame for the ‘All In Challenge’, she is helping raise funds for those suffering food insecurity in the United States.
It will not be a bargain purchase, however, with the auction rising to $21,000 at the time of writing after starting at a mere $2,500.
The auction has already received 19 bids since it began and there are 14 days for the cost to grow.
The All In Challenge website says the winning bidder will earn themselves a heap of rewards including the chance to attend any tennis open, spectate from Bouchard’s players box and then have a post-match dinner with the Canadian sensation.
The top bidder will receive paid flights for the trip to any of Bouchard’s competitions, varying from the US Open and French Open to Wimbledon and the Australian Open.
They will watch Bouchard compete alongside her team and coach before having a meal with the Canadian.
They will also receive a racket and sneakers signed by the beaut.
In a video shared on her Instagram, Bouchard said: “I think it’s so important to come together during these tough times.”
Bouchard is no stranger to going on dates with fans.
Last month she agreed to a date with one fan once the pandemic is over and in 2017 she lost a Twitter bet with one fan when she predicted the Atlanta Falcons to beat the New England Patriots at Super Bowl LI.News Now - Sport News
