Juventus may have wrapped up the Serie A title but they couldn’t have done it in a more underwhelming manner.

Since the resumption of football after the lockdown, Juve have lost the Copa Italia final against Napoli and have now won just two of their previous seven league matches.

Their latest defeat came on Wednesday night as they lost 2-0 to Cagliari.

It was their sixth loss of the season, while they also trail Lyon after the first leg of their Champions last-16 clash.

But the Old Lady have hope thanks to a certain Cristiano Ronaldo.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has scored an incredible 31 goals in Serie A this season - not bad for a 35-year-old!

While it’s unfair on his teammates to say that Ronaldo has single-handedly hauled them to the league title, they certainly couldn’t have done it without him.

In fact, many fans believe Ronaldo scoring 31 for this underwhelming Juve side is the biggest achievement of his incredible career.

One clip of Federico Bernardeschi smashing the ball high and wide led to the caption: “Can't believe Cristiano Ronaldo won the league and got 31 league goals with these type of players alongside him.”

It led to an image of Cristiano Ronaldo slumped over the advertising boards in frustration against Cagliari.

A lot of that frustration may have been caused by the fact Ciro Immobile simply can’t stop scoring. The Lazio striker scored again on Wednesday, taking him to 35 goals - four ahead of Ronaldo.

With just one match remaining, it will now take a miracle for Ronaldo to win the Golden Boot.

But maybe it’s a miracle that he’s managed 31 goals this campaign in the first place…
