Barcelona are in crisis.

For the first time in 12 years, they will finish the season trophyless.

But the mess they find themselves in extends far beyond simply not winning any silverware.

The entire club is a mess from top to bottom.

Gerard Pique said so much when he came out to speak after the club’s embarrassing 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarter-final.

"The clubs need changes and I’m not talking about the coach or any one player. The club needs profound change. We have hit rock bottom. We need to reflect and do what is best for the club,” the defender said.

"I will be the first to offer to go if we need new blood."

Well, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca have put the entire squad up for sale but for five players.

They are: Lionel Messi, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Frenkie de Jong, Ansu Fati and Riqui Puig. The rest are reportedly expendable.

But how much would it cost for a club to sign a player from Barcelona?

Well, the release clauses of every single player have been revealed by Squawka.

Of course, the club will probably accept offers less than the reported release clauses at this stage as they look to rebuild.

Yeah clubs won’t be getting many bargains, will they? The cheapest release clause is 22-year-old Alena, who made just five appearances for the first-team this season spending most of it on loan at Real Betis.

Elsewhere, Fati has a relatively modest release clause of €170m. However, that’s expected to rise to €400m upon his 18th birthday on October 31, 2020.

The club triggered the €18m release clause of Martin Braithwaite in January and then went and slapped a €300m release clause on his contract.

Some of the most senior players have a €500m release clause - as well as 20-year-old Trincao.

Meanwhile, if any club want to guarantee the chance to sign Messi, they’d have to splash out €700m! Worth every penny.

But rather surprisingly, Griezmann commands an even higher release clause of €800m! We’re pretty sure no club will be looking to trigger that…
