Dominik Mysterio made his WWE debut at SummerSlam last weekend.
He was incredibly impressive as he battled against Seth Rollins with his father, Rey, in his corner.
At the age of just 23, Dominik proved that he has a bright future inside the ring, hitting a number of tough spots while keeping fans on the edge of their virtual seats.
Despite picking up a defeat in his debut, there's plenty to be excited about and the Mysterio's teamed up at Payback seven days later.
There, the pair beat Rollins and Murphy in a tag team match, which looks likely to bring an end to their long-running feud which has played out on Monday Night RAW.
So how does Dominik feel after a whirlwind few months, which saw him make his first in-ring appearance at one of WWE's biggest pay-per-view events?
Pretty damn proud, as you'd expect. He told talkSPORT:
"It’s been crazy, it’s been surreal. Having to come down from cloud nine after being in my debut match at SummerSlam to debuting at RAW with my dad the next day - it’s been a blessing.
"Putting the match together, I couldn’t have picked a better person to help me with that than Seth and my dad.
"I'm nothing but thankful to those guys for how they helped me and guided me through this crazy debut match at SummerSlam. Overall, I was very happy with the match."
Dominik went on to reveal the reaction he got backstage at SummerSlam and explained that Vince McMahon took the time to embrace him after his debut.
"The reaction backstage was crazy," Mysterio continued.
"I got very emotional, hugged my mum, hugged my dad, hugged Jamie [Noble], Seth - the whole deal. Everyone was very happy and clapping for me, so it was a surreal moment.
"I definitely gave the bossman [Vince McMahon] a hug afterwards and thanked him for the opportunity. It was just a crazy experience.
"From seeing other people and other wrestlers finish their matches and walk through gorilla and hug Vince and stuff like that, having that be my turn to do it... I’m forever grateful."
It's great to hear just how much excitement there was around Dominik's SummerSlam debut. We bet he'll be taking plenty more walks through gorilla in the coming years, too.
