Southampton 2-5 Tottenham: Heung-min Son's highlights from four-goal masterclass

Heung-min Son scored four goals vs Southampton

Heung-min Son delivered a masterclass in goal scoring today against Southampton.

The South Korean forward scored four times in Tottenham Hotspur's 5-2 away against the Saints, with Harry Kane teeing up his teammate for every goal.

Son dragged Spurs back into the game just before half-time by drawing the score level after Danny Ings had struck for the hosts in the first half.

Then after the restart, the former Bayer Leverkusen took the game by the scruff of the neck and put the Saints' defence to the sword.

All four of his goals were loaded with quality and every time Son burst past Southampton's hopeless back-line, you just knew the ball was flying past Alex McCarthy.

You can watch Son's highlights from the game.

What a player the South Korean is. When he's at his best, no defender on the planet stands a chance against the ice-cold 28-year-old striker.

Son's quartet of strikes was the the 28th time a Premier League player has scored four times in a game.

Kane's assist tally from the match also means the England captain has joined a very exclusive club.

The Spurs striker is just the seventh player in Premier League history to record four assists in a game and he is also the first Englishman to achieve the feat.

Spurs fans will no doubt be very excited for the addition of Gareth Bale to their already goal-filled forward line.

Bale, Son and Kane? That's a trio capable of scaring any defence in the world and one that could see Mourinho's side gatecrash the top four.
