Premier League transfer window: The one player every club should sign before deadline day

We’re now two weeks into the new Premier League season and some teams more than others are showing signs that they are missing one or two players that they need to bring in before the window shuts.

Whilst it is understandable that some teams need a lot more than just signing a player to sort themselves out, with the likes of Newcastle United and West Ham having a lot of troubles happening off of the pitch, we have looked into just one player each club should look to buy.

So, who does your club need to sign?

(NOTE: This is personal opinion, do not get too angry if we haven't named someone you think should be a target)

ARSENAL – Houssam Aouar

The young Lyon midfielder is tipped to become one of the world’s next best central midfielders and he is exactly what Arsenal need right now, someone to create chances from the centre of the park.

ASTON VILLA – Milot Rashica

The winger has been tearing defences up in the Bundesliga and would be ideal to supply new signing Ollie Watkins with plenty of chances

BRIGHTON – Rhian Brewster (Loan)

The young forward enjoyed a successful loan spell at Swansea last season in the Championship and will now be looking to gain some proper Premier League experience. However, Klopp has already blocked a loan approach from Newcastle as he is yet to make his mind up with what to do with the youngster this season.

BURNLEY – Dale Stephens

Burnley have lost a lot of depth to their midfield this window with the likes of Jeff Hendrick leaving for free. Dale Stephens could be their man to bolster their midfield.

CHELSEA – Declan Rice

Mason Mount’s best mate has already sparked rumours of a move to Chelsea after admitting he’d love to play with Mason at club level. He could be ideal for Chelsea too with him being able to play in a central defensive role as well as playing in the centre of the park.

CRYSTAL PALACE – Said Benrahma

The Brentford winger would certainly bring some entertaining play to Selhurst Park, with the Algerian forward having bags of skill. With Andros Townsend starting the season in fine form, and Wilfried Zaha for that matter, Roy Hodgson could create a deadly attack with this signing.

EVERTON – Fikayo Tomori (Loan)

Everton have already made some fantastic signings this summer and already look like a massive threat to the top six, but they need defensive depth. Fikayo Tomori could be a brilliant loan signing for the club as the centre half has bags of potential.

FULHAM – Calum Chambers

In their first two outings, Fulham have looked far from perfect at the back, conceding seven goals in just two games. The Cottagers had Chambers on loan the last time they were in the Premier League and bringing him back on a permanent deal could be good business for the club.

LEEDS – Ben White

Ben White was a massive part of Leeds’ Championship winning side, and they are obviously desperate to get him on a permanent basis, but unfortunately Brighton look reluctant to let the deal happen.

LEICESTER – David Brooks

There has been plenty of interest in the Welsh international, with Manchester United also interested in the winger. Leicester need wingers and Brooks could be the answer.

LIVERPOOL – Ismaila Sarr

With the signings Liverpool have just made, it’s hard to pick a player out who they could possibly need. Ismaila Sarr could be a decent signing, though, with the young Senegalese winger having a lot of potential.

MANCHESTER CITY – Kalidou Koulibaly

Manchester City still haven’t replaced Vincent Kompany, yes, they’ve brought in Nathan Ake, but they need another big centre half. Koulibaly would be perfect.

United looked very poor against Crystal Palace in their first game of the season and surprisingly looked like they were missing some sort of spark up top, despite the forward talent they have. Sancho has been brilliant for Dortmund and could no doubt replicate his form in the Premier League.

NEWCASTLE UNITED – Arkadiusz Milik

Newcastle struggled for goals last season and although they have brought in Callum Wilson from Bournemouth, they need another striker should the English forward pick up another injury. Milik is out of contract at Napoli at the end of the season and would be a perfect signing for Steve Bruce’s side.

SHEFFIELD UNITED – Rhian Brewster (Loan)

As previously mentioned, the Liverpool youngster will desperately be looking for Premier League experience this season and Sheffield could be another club that would be a perfect fit for him to do so.

With Everton bolstering their midfield heavily this summer, Davies could find himself left out. Southampton need a replacement for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg after selling him to Tottenham and Davies could be a good fit for them.

TOTTENHAM – Danny Ings

Spurs have made some great signings so far this summer, after bringing Gareth Bale back from Real Madrid, but they need another striker. They struggled last season when Harry Kane got injured and they need someone to step in if it happens again. Ings has carried his form last season into this one so far and would be a brilliant acquisition for Spurs.

WEST BROM – M’Baye Niang

West Brom are going to need goals if they’re going to stand any chance of staying up this season. They are currently bottom after two games and have a goal difference of -8. Niang could really quicken up West Brom’s attack and potentially bring in the goals for the Baggies.

WEST HAM – James Tarkowski

West Ham looked a mess against Newcastle and although picked up the pace a little against Arsenal, they need a centre half and Tarkowski would be perfect for them. The England international was left out of the last England squad and will be desperate to get back in it.

WOLVES – Nelson Semedo

Would it be a Wolves signing if the player weren’t Portuguese? The Barcelona full-back looks like he is truly on his way to the Midlands club and could be a brilliant replacement for Matt Doherty.
