Balenciaga to release a pair of £595 football boots

Recently, Neymar signed the most lucrative boot deal in the history of football with Puma.

Earlier this month, the Paris Saint-Germain superstar put pen to paper on a ridiculous £23 million a year deal with Puma after leaving Nike.

That’s even more than the £18 million a year Lionel Messi earns from his Adidas boot deal.

But we have just discovered a brand of football boot that may be able to offer a footballer even more than Neymar’s £23 million a year.

That’s because luxury brand Balenciaga have released their own boots costing a quite ridiculous £595.

For probably the most expensive football boot on the planet, you’d expect them to look pretty decent, right?

However, they’re absolutely terrible.

They’re the cheapest looking boots ever, They’re plain black with an old-school elastic tongue, with ‘Balenciaga’ written it. They also do them in orange and white if you'd prefer...

According to ‘Hypebeast,’ the boots have been made from “leather-free materials.”

And while they’re based on normal football boots, they’ve been “reworked for everyday wear.” So you mean they’ve been made to be able to walk for a trip into town? Imagine going on a night out with a pair of Balenciaga football boots on. Amazing.

We all know what you’re thinking: ‘When and where can I buy them?”

Well, will be available in selected stores worldwide and on from September 24, retailing at £595.

Make sure you snap them up!

It’s not the first time Balenciaga have produced some football gear.

Recently, they also made a jersey worth $780 USD featuring ‘Balenciaga 10’ on the back.

A Balenciaga jersey and a pair of Balenciaga football boots costing more than £1,000.

We all know you want them both.
