Arsenal fans beg club to sign Dominik Szoboszlai after his winner during Hungary 2-1 Iceland

Dominik Szoboszlai - a Hungarian hero!

Hungary qualified for Euro 2020 last night in the most dramatic fashion possible.

In their play-off game against Iceland, Nemzeti Tizenegy were trailing 1-0 right up until the 87th minute thanks to a goal from Everton's Gylfi Sigurdsson.

Hungary then drew the score level at the Puskas Arena in the 88th minute through Loic Nego, before the country's star man sealed the unlikeliest of victories in stoppage time.

Dominik Szoboszlai produced an outstanding solo goal to win it and the Red Bull Salzburg man's effort came just seconds after Iceland had a shot cleared off the line.

It was absolute chaos and you can watch Szoboszlai's stunning solo effort below.

Absolute scenes. Sending your country to a major tournament with virtually the last kick of the game as a 20-year-old? It doesn't get much better than that.

Szoboszlai is currently one of the most sought after players in world football. In his 13 games in all competitions for Salzburg in 2020/21, the silky midfielder has scored five goals and contributed with nine assists.

Arsenal have been heavily linked with the midfielder and after Gunners fan @SalibaEra_ posted the footage of the Hungarian's goal last night, fellow supporters were quick to make their feelings known.

One replied to the video: "I said it before and I'll repeat it, this boy is miles better than Aouar."

Another quipped: "The way he picked the ball up and progressed it was very Ozil like. He looks a real talent."

Here's how other Arsenal fans reacted on Twitter...

Given the club's creative woes and lack of goal threat from midfield this season, it's no wonder Arsenal fans are so desperate to have Szoboszlai on board.

The 20-year-old also has a release clause of just £22.5m, further increasing his already enormous appeal.

Over to you, Mikel Arteta...
