This time around it was at the Italian Grand Prix where the two title chasers came to blows, ruling them BOTH out of the race in the process.
After the incident, it was very apparent that they were both livid with the situation, as you'd expect, with them heading away from their vehicles without interacting with each other.
It was a very dramatic start to the race, as the Dutchman got off slowly and poorly, losing first place to former teammate and McLaren racer Daniel Ricciardo, but that was just the start for Red Bull and also for Mercedes.
It was then a woeful pitstop for Verstappen, as he was left waiting for over 10 seconds by his team, who have famously completed stops in under two seconds before.
Because of that delay, he found himself way down in 11th, chasing the points, rather than the podium.
But in the middle of it all, he then came to blows with his title rival, with both of them colliding and crashing out of the race.
The incident in question can be seen in the clip above... make up your own minds with regards to who was in the wrong.
The crash brought back memories of what went down at Silverstone, when Hamilton forced Verstappen off the track and into the gravel. Not only that, though, he was then sent to hospital because of the crash.
Fortunately, all was well with the Dutch driver, but it took the rivalry up a notch, especially after Verstappen tweeted his dissatisfaction at his title rival celebrating whilst he was in hospital.
It's been a very competitive season between the two drivers, and incidents like this only ramp up the fire and the rivalry.
We could be in for one hell of a season finale, with just five points separating the two.
For now, however, they will have to reflect on another crash that once again sparks their battle for the title.News Now - Sport News
