DokeV is a creature-collecting action-adventure game in an open-world environment due to be released by Pearl Abyss.
Not much has been revealed about the game, although it is a stylish anime-influenced title that could be a massive hit when it finally arrives on shelves and in digital stores.

The exact release date for the new title from Pearl Abyss has not yet been confirmed, however, it is expected to drop in 2022.

The trailer for DokeV was first released at Gamescom 2021, DokeV’s trailer is a fantastic anime-styled visual feast that should entice fans of Pokemon and beyond. One of the standout moments of the trailer is the reveal of the rideable alpaca.
UPDATE 1st December 2021: It is believed that the game will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Series S and Microsoft Windows.
Original: Pearl Abyss has not as of yet officially confirmed which platforms DokeV will be available on upon release. The developer's other title, Black Desert, is currently available on PC, console and mobile.
It is worth noting that the official YouTube page for DokeV has Windows, Xbox and PS4 listed in the tags, although this is possibly to help the YouTube algorithm and not a confirmation of the platforms that the game will be released on.

Pearl Abyss has confirmed that the game was originally planned to be an MMO, but was changed to the creature-capture style of game during development. They said: "#DokeV was initially introduced as an MMO, but we decided to move the game in a different direction and it's now a creature-collecting open world action-adventure.
"But regardless of genre, we're going for fun, vibrant, and adventurous!"
UPDATE 13th December 2021: The developers unveiled a new video for ROCKSTAR at the Game Awards 2021!
One of the big elements of the trailer was the song, which is called ROCKSTAR and can be downloaded via the game’s official website. There is also a remixed version of the song available to download.
The track is a quirky K-Pop styled anthem that sits perfectly with the anime stylings of the game itself.
