Journalist Luke Hatfield has called for Bruno Lage to hand a full debut to Hwang Hee-chan against Tottenham tonight.
Is he likely to start?
The Carabao Cup is one of the two competitions Wolves can win this season, so it'll be a competition that Lage takes seriously.
However, Saturday's trip to Southampton might be seen as the priority this week, meaning changes can be expected on Nuno Espirito Santo's second return to Molineux.
One of those alterations could see Raul Jimenez given a rest following his tough start to the campaign. The Mexican has started all five Premier League matches but fri yet scored and has struggled in front of goal.
If Jimenez is withdrawn, then surely Chan will be rewarded with a well-deserved first start for the club. The South Korean is the only Wolves player to score in the league this season and has only been on the pitch for 71 minutes since joining on loan from Leipzig.
However, Chan will be competing with record-signing Fabio Silva, who's another possible option for Lage, and started the second-round victory at Nottingham Forest last month.
But Silva played just nine minutes against Brentford on Saturday, compared to Chan's 28, which suggests that the loanee is ahead in the pecking order and could well get the nod to face Spurs.

And Hatfield is hoping that Chan, rated £9.9m by Transfermarkt, makes his full debut in gold and continues the bright start he's made to his Wolves career.
What did Hatfield say?
He told GIVEMESPORT: "I really want to see Hwang Hee-chan from the off because he looks like an exciting player and knows where the net is.
"And judging by the things that he's said, he's got a real kind of fire under the bonnet – he wants to get going, he wants to make a real impact at Premier League level, so I'd like to see him have a few more opportunities."
Should Chan start?
Whilst they have every chance of progressing to the fourth round against a low on confidence Tottenham side, Wolves' start to the season suggests they're not going to win the Carabao Cup this season.
And with some fringe players in desperate need of match action, Lage should see tonight's game as the perfect chance to rotate his squad and keep some of his more important players fresh, with Chan one of those that needs a start.News Now - Sport News
