Andrew McLean Galloway IV, better known under the ring name Drew McIntrye, is a Scottish professional wrestler. Standing at a staggering 6’5” tall, McIntyre is signed to WWE currently performing on the Raw brand. The Scot, aged 35, has endured a thoroughly successful career thus far and is dominating the WWE scene - the current WWE Champion in his second reign.
Outside of WWE, McIntyre entertained as the performer Drew Galloway from 2001-2007 and 2014-2017, mostly participating with Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), where he was a one-time TNA World Heavyweight Champion and Impact Grand Champion. Away from TNA, McIntyre has also wrestled on the independent circuit where he was once ICW World Heavyweight Champion, Evolve Champion, Open the Freedom Gate Champion, Evolve Tag Team Champion and WCPW Champion.
That impressive portfolio of success did not stop there. McIntyre’s return to WWE in 2017 was just as captivating with the Scot winning the NXT Championship on his debut and becoming the first man to do so. On his return to the main roster one year later, McIntyre won the Raw Tag Team Championship with Dolph Ziggler. On top of that, McIntyre emerged victorious at the 2020 Royal Rumble event and also defeated Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania 36’s main event.
Following a recent successful defense of the WWE Championship against Keith Lee, McIntyre was confronted by Bill Goldberg and both agreed to fight in a championship match at the Royal Rumble.
