About Juventus

Juventus is one of the biggest clubs in the world, a club packed with history and success. Founded in 1897, they are known as ‘La Vecchia Signora’ - which translates to ‘The Old Lady’ - and have dominated the top-flight of Italian football since the very start. The likes of AC Milan and Inter Milan rival Juventus for the Serie A trophy, but often it is the latter who comes out on top with the top-class players that can change a game; the latest being superstar Cristiano Ronaldo.

Throughout the years, Juventus’ domestic and European success has placed them in a category only very few will ever reach; several Serie A title triumphs has made them the most successful team in the top tier of Italian football and the club is showing no sign of stopping that progression. Juve have shown outstanding levels of consistency as a club and deserve huge credit for the position they find themselves in.

Overall, Juventus have won the Serie A 36 times in the club’s history. On top of that incredible achievement, Juve are 13-time Coppa Italia winners and nine-time Supercoppa Italiana winners - both of which are current records. It takes a special club to dominate domestically and that is exactly what they are, a special club.

On a European level, Juventus have also endured great success in the past. The club are two-time winners of the European Cup - now known as the Champions League - which dates back to 1985 and 1996. Although this is an impressive achievement, Juventus fans will be hoping to see their club improve on this record and establish their dominance in Europe as well as domestically. Elsewhere, Juventus have won the European Cup Winners’ Cup once, the UEFA Cup thrice, the European Super Cup twice and the UEFA Intertoto Cup once.
